Free event: Discover exciting options at Career Camp for Kids

The 2018 Career Camp for Kids, themed "Under the Big Top," will offer a variety of hands-on activities for TK-5th grade students on Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ramona Elementary School. Please pre-register by clicking here.
 
The Career Camp for Kids will engage and ignite elementary aged students’ curiosity about future career options with hands-on activities, information, and resources about a wide variety of careers.
 
Some of the careers that will be showcased include: author, nutritionist, financial planner, real estate broker, exercise physiologist, make-up artist, nurse, chiropractor, travel agent, engineer, and video producer.
 
Career Camp for Kids will provide elementary students with:
• Visual aids, handouts, brochures, and/or tools used in various careers
• Information on education and/or skills needed for each career
• Description of duties required for the careers
 
The first 200 students in attendance will receive a free backpack. There will also be raffles for items including an iPad, gift cards and gift baskets. Free BBQ hot dogs, popcorn and cotton candy will also be provided.
 
Parents MUST attend with their children.
